A Full Day: Sterilisation, Rescue and a Reunion with the Airport Dogs

A busy one for the team today.

We collected a little female dog from Ville Noir and brought her to PAWS Mauritius Union Vale for sterilisation. From there we went to Le Bouchon to pick up one of our regular strays, a boy who has been diagnosed with TVT cancer. He is on ongoing treatment and we expect him to be okay.

On the way back, four puppies had been dumped in a box at the PAWS gate. We are grateful to PAWS for taking them in and keeping them safe.

Out on the feeding round, we found rocks had been placed in front of our feeding tubes and we had to climb over them to reach the doggies. We managed to give medication to two dogs with bad tick infestations.

On the way home we spotted our airport white dogs, who we hadn't seen in months, a lovely surprise, though no photos as we were too pleased to see them.
