A busy week in Blue Bay: rescues, sterilisations and a fundraiser

So much happened in just one week.

Last Saturday, our vet Isabelle Joseph from Vet on the Run visited us in Blue Bay, treating local pets as well as some of our strays.

That same night, we rescued two young female dogs from the torrential rain. They had been abandoned in the street two days earlier and were found terrified, malnourished, cold and wet. They're now safe with one of our foster carers and, in time, will be fit, healthy and ready to find a forever home.

On Tuesday, our volunteer Aurelie caught two stray cats for sterilisation. Along with two stray dogs, they were taken to PAWS Mauritius, Union Vale, to be sterilised. We also caught a male dog in our catch cage and had him sterilised too.

In that same area, there's a mother dog with four puppies looking for loving homes — please get in touch if you can help. All of our strays continue to be fed thanks to PAWS Care UK, and our team also had a great result selling socks at London Way, raising a fantastic amount for our funds.
