A Sterilisation Day in Cité La Chaux, in Memory of Joan and Sue

A garage, a generous neighbour, and a lot of hard work.

Yesterday we held a sterilisation day in Cité La Chaux, an area with a large stray dog and cat population, held in loving memory of Joan Payne and Sue Lyons. A local resident kindly offered his garage for the day, and the team got to work: 10 dogs and 5 cats were sterilised.

We also welcomed back 4 puppies for their vaccinations. Two are currently in our foster care, and two have already been happily adopted into new homes. Alongside this, we rescued a very small puppy found in the area, who will move to his new family home once he's a little bigger and stronger.

It was an emotional day, but a successful one. We'll be returning to the same spot next month to continue the work still needed there.

Thank you to everyone involved, to Vet on the Run for their support, and to everyone whose kind donations make days like this possible.
