A Night of Support, Connection, and Shared Purpose

A Night of Support, Connection, and Shared Purpose

A first charity dinner and auction made possible by community generosity

Our first charity dinner and auction was a meaningful and memorable evening — one that reminded us just how much can be achieved when people come together in support of a shared cause.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed so generously to the after-dinner auction, including Chantauvent Guest House Mauritius, The Spot Café, Chrissie’s Hairmony, Chantelle’s Cakes, and the much-loved contributions from Peggy and Charne.

Thank you to Leung Supermarket for donating six bottles of wine, and to the entire team at Le Jardin de Beauvallon Ltd for welcoming us so warmly, providing wonderful food, and taking such great care of everyone throughout the evening.

We are also grateful to Pete’s band for the fantastic entertainment, to our in-house auctioneer for keeping the evening lively, and to Melanie for her delicious brownies.

Most importantly, thank you to everyone who attended and supported our association. Your presence, encouragement, and generosity meant more to us than words can express.

The funds raised during this evening directly support our ongoing work. They allow us to continue with our sterilisation programme, including our next planned mass sterilisation day in November, while also sustaining our regular feeding routes, welfare support, and ongoing sterilisations as needs arise.

This evening was not just about fundraising — it was about connection, trust, and shared commitment to improving the lives of dogs and cats in our community.
