When a Community Pulls Together: A Sterilisation Day in Ville Noir

A last-minute challenge, a shared effort, and meaningful impact for animals in need

This sterilisation campaign in Ville Noir is a strong example of what can happen when people work together with determination and care.

After an unexpected venue cancellation shortly before the planned date, a new community hall was secured at the final hour — allowing the campaign to go ahead and ensuring that animals who needed help were not turned away.

Over the course of the day, 17 animals were sterilised in total — 12 dogs and 5 cats.

Our volunteer vet worked tirelessly throughout the campaign, offering not only her expertise and time but also generous sponsorship that helped make the day possible. We are deeply grateful for her continued commitment and support.

We would also like to thank our dedicated team of volunteers, whose coordination, flexibility, and hands-on help ensured everything ran smoothly despite the challenges.

This day reflects the kind of steady, community-led action that makes a real difference — one campaign, one animal, and one shared effort at a time.
