13 dogs sterilised in Mahebourg

Pale yellow puppy held up by two people, one in pink scrubs, indoors

A long day, but a good one.

Our March sterilisation campaign took place today in Mahebourg, where 13 dogs were sterilised, 10 of them strays from around the area. Every one of them matters, but the strays especially - it means fewer litters born into difficult lives on the street.

By the evening, there was more good news: two abandoned puppies found their forever home. Watching them go from stray pups to someone's dogs in the space of a day was the kind of moment that makes the long hours worth it.

It was emotional and tiring in equal measure, but a real team effort from start to finish. Thank you to everyone who gave their time today, including Aurelie and Sean, and to everyone who continues to support this work in Mahebourg and across the south.
